Okay, so I got this wild idea to try and predict the 2024 F1 season. I mean, who doesn’t love a good prediction, right? Especially when it involves fast cars and, you know, potentially looking like a genius later on.
First, I dug into all the stuff I could find online – articles, forums, even some slightly dodgy-looking blogs. Just soaking it all in like a sponge. I wanted to get a feel for what the “experts” were saying, what the general buzz was. I learned it.

The Research Phase
- Looked at last season’s results.
- checked team changes(Driver swaps, new engineers, that sort of thing.)
- Scoured for any hints about new car designs or rule changes.
Then, I created a basic sort table. Nothing fancy, just listing out all the teams and drivers. I started jotting down some initial thoughts – who I thought might be strong, who might struggle. It was a bit of a mess at this point, more like brainstorming on paper.
Next, I went back to my notes and started assigning some numbers. Purely subjective, based on my gut feeling and what I’d read. I used a simple 1-10 scale for things like “engine power,” “driver skill,” and “team strategy.” I know, super scientific, right?
Once I had those numbers, I kinda, sorta mashed them together. I didn’t have a real formula or anything, just a general sense of “if this team is strong in these areas, they should score around this many points.”
My Bold(ish) Predictions
After all that,I am predicting,drum roll please…!
- Max Verstappen and Red Bull still at the top. I mean, they were so strong, it is hard to see them falling off a cliff.
- Mercedes make it a good comeback. They had a tough time, but they’re, well, Mercedes.
- Ferrari still messing up strategy calls. Some things never change, it seems.
- A midfield battle so close it’ll make your head spin.
I jotted down my final predictions, feeling pretty good about it. Of course, I know it’s all just guesswork. But that’s part of the fun, right? I saved everything, just in case I actually get something right. Bragging rights, you know?

So, that’s how I spent my afternoon, trying to become an F1 soothsayer. We’ll see how it all pans out. Maybe I’ll be completely wrong, maybe I’ll be surprisingly close. Either way, it was a fun little experiment, Now, I will wait for all the result to happen.
