Okay, so today I wanted to figure out how many laps were in today’s NASCAR race. Honestly, I’m not the biggest NASCAR fan, but I got curious and decided to look it up.
Digging for the Info
First, I fired up my trusty web browser. I wasn’t even sure where to start, so I just typed in “today’s NASCAR race laps”.

My initial search gave me a bunch of news articles and race summaries. I scrolled through a few, but they were mostly talking about who won and what happened, not the basic info I needed. Too much fluff!
I refined my search, it needs to be more specific.
I scrolled down, and Bingo! I found a schedule.I clicked on it.
The Answer!
It turns out, the race has a specific number of laps, and sometimes, there are multiple races in a day.
So, yeah, that’s how I figured it out. It wasn’t rocket science, but it took a little digging. Now I know, and I can go back to watching cat videos. Mission accomplished!
