Okay, so the other day I saw this wild rumor flying around the internet: “Did NBA YoungBoy Die 2024?” I was like, “Whoa, hold up, what?!” I’m a big fan, so naturally, I kinda freaked out a little.
My first move? Straight to Google. I typed in “NBA YoungBoy died 2024” and, man, the results were all over the place. Some random blogs were saying it was true, others were saying it was a hoax. It was a total mess, and I didn’t know what to believe.
Then, I remembered, check the reliable sources! So, I went to the websites of some big news outlets I trust, you know, like TMZ, Billboard, and some others. I figured if something that big actually happened, they’d be all over it.
I scrolled through their entertainment sections, searched their sites specifically for “NBA YoungBoy”…and nothing. Not a single headline about him passing away. That made me feel a little better.
Digging Deeper
But I wasn’t totally convinced yet. I headed over to Twitter. I know, I know, Twitter can be a wild west of misinformation, but I figured I’d see what the chatter was like. I searched for his name and, yeah, there were tons of people talking about it, some posting “RIP” and all that. But then, I noticed something.
- A lot of the “RIP” tweets were from accounts that looked kinda…bot-like. You know, the ones with weird usernames and no profile pictures?
- And even the real people talking about it, most of them were just asking if it was true, not actually saying they knew it was true.
I also checked NBA YoungBoy’s official social media accounts – his Instagram, his YouTube, everything. Usually, if something major happens, the family or the team will post something official. But there was nothing there either. Everything looked normal.
After all that digging, I came to my own conclusion: It’s almost definitely a hoax. There’s just no solid evidence from any reliable source to back it up. It seems like one of those internet rumors that just spiraled out of control.

It is really not good to spread such fake news.
