Okay, so I’m a HUGE Alabama football fan. Like, seriously, it’s a way of life. Naturally, I’ve always dreamed of having season tickets. This year, I finally decided to look into it seriously. It was a bit of a rollercoaster, so I figured I’d share my experience.
The Initial Search
First, I started poking around online. I mean, where else do you start these days? I wanted to get a sense of the general price range, the process, everything. Honestly, I was bracing myself for some serious sticker shock.

Tide Totals Points…What?
Then I discovered this whole “Tide Totals” points system. It’s basically a loyalty program. The more points you have (from donations, years of buying tickets, etc.), the better your chances of getting season tickets and the better seats you can snag. It felt a bit complicated at first, my head was spinning! I felt so so confused!
Getting Down to Brass Tacks (and Prices)
I couldn’t find straightforward, official prices for season tickets, I realized that prices can change every year.
It varies a lot depending on:
- Seat Location: Obviously, the closer to the 50-yard line you are, the pricier it gets.
- Tide Totals Points: The higher your points, the potential for lower prices (and better seats).
- Donation Amount: Yep, there’s often a required donation on top of the ticket price itself. This goes to the athletic program.
The Waiting Game
The other thing I learned is that there’s often a waiting list. A long one. Because, well, it’s Alabama football! I registered my interest, gave them my contact information, and now…I wait. I’m still waiting to see what might happen!
My Takeaway So Far
Getting Alabama football season tickets isn’t as simple as just whipping out your credit card. It’s a whole process, involving points, donations, and probably a good dose of patience. I’m still holding out hope, though! Maybe one day I’ll be cheering from the stands with my very own season tickets. Roll Tide!
