Hey there, let me tell you somethin’ about that GCU baseball team. You see, GCU been doin’ real good lately, their baseball team gettin’ some big attention. In 2024, them folks ranked GCU as the No. 52 college baseball program in the nation, ain’t that somethin’? They been workin’ real hard for that.
Now, don’t let that No. 52 fool ya, cause this team been makin’ a name for itself in Division I baseball. GCU’s been at it since way back in 1953, and over the years, 16 players from the team have gone on to play pro. So, that means this school ain’t just for studyin’, they got some talent comin’ out of there too.

Oh, and let me tell ya, GCU been doin’ mighty fine in their conference, the WAC. Over the 16 seasons they been in and out of it, they won six regular-season titles. Imagine that, six of ‘em! And they won five of them titles in just the last six years! That’s somethin’ to brag about, ain’t it? GCU’s been on fire, and people are startin’ to notice.
They ain’t just doin’ good in the WAC neither, they been playin’ against some big teams. I heard they went 3-1 just last week, and they been climbin’ the ranks since. They even got up to No. 25 in the D1Baseball poll at one point. The way they been playin’, it’s no surprise folks are keepin’ an eye on ‘em.
What’s Next for GCU?
Now, I don’t know much about all the fancy stuff, but it seems to me GCU’s on the up and up. They keep doin’ good, maybe they’ll climb even higher in the rankings next year. There’s a lotta hope for this team, especially with all them young players comin’ up, and folks say their ballpark, Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark, is one fine place to watch a game.
