Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this 2016 NASCAR season schedule. They got races all over the place, you know? Like, Daytona, that’s a big one. Everyone talks about Daytona. They got this race called the Daytona 500, sounds important, right? Lots of cars goin’ round and round, fast, real fast.
Then there’s Chicagoland, I think they call it. Another place where they do the racin’. Sounds fancy, Chicagoland. Heard somethin’ about a Chase thing there, startin’ in September. Dunno what that means exactly, but sounds like a big deal. Maybe they chase each other? Could be fun to watch.
They got these races on TV, too. Fox, they show ’em. Can watch it right in your own home, no need to go anywhere. Good for folks who don’t wanna get caught in all that traffic. Sit on your couch, eat your snacks, and watch the cars go zoom. That’s the life, eh?
There’s different kinds of races, they say. Sprint Cup, Xfinity, Craftsman Truck, somethin’ like that. All these names, hard to keep track. But they’re all races, cars goin’ fast. Some look like regular cars, some look like trucks. Guess it depends on what you like to see.
These drivers, they’re somethin’ else. Riskin’ their necks for the win. Heard about a fella named Ryan Blaney, had a close call or somethin’. And Logano, won a championship. Good for them, I guess. Must be hard work, drivin’ all day.

They got these tracks, all over the country I reckon. Fancy names, most of ’em. People go there, sit in the stands, watch the race. Must be excitin’, hearin’ the engines roar. Bet it’s loud, though. Hope they wear earplugs.
You gotta keep track of the schedule, they say. Don’t wanna miss a race. They got calendars, websites, all that fancy stuff. Shows you when and where the races are. February, September, all the months in between. Lots of racin’ goin’ on.
So, if you like cars, if you like speed, maybe you’d like this NASCAR thing. Lots of races, lots of drivers. Somethin’ for everyone, I guess. Just turn on the TV, or go to the track, and watch ’em go. Round and round, fast as lightnin’. That’s what they do.
