Well, let me tell ya, some of them NBA fellas, they sure like to wear them fancy Adidas shoes, huh. You know, back in the day, folks like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Tracy McGrady, they was runnin’ around the court wearin’ Adidas. Them was the days when Adidas was still real strong in the NBA. But even though they don’t make them fancy uniforms no more since 2017, they still got some real good players signed up, let me tell ya.
Now, one of the young fellas wearin’ Adidas these days is Damian Lillard. This fella, he got his own shoe, ya know? They call it the “Dame” series. He’s been with Adidas for a while now, and people sure do like them shoes. I heard they comfortable and good for runnin’ all over that court, chasin’ that ball. That Lillard, he sure is quick on his feet, so I guess them shoes gotta be helpin’!
Then there’s Donovan Mitchell. Now, this fella, he got his own shoe too, called the “D.O.N.” series. Ain’t that somethin’? I reckon them Adidas folks sure know how to pick the right fellas for their shoes. Mitchell, he young, but he playin’ real strong, jumpin’ around like a rabbit, makin’ them slam dunks. Adidas see that and think, ‘well, we better get him some shoes.’
Oh, and don’t forget Trae Young. This young’un got his own shoe too, and folks say he’s a real sharpshooter. I think them Adidas shoes must help him with all them three-pointers he’s makin’. He sure can shoot from way back, and the crowd just loves it. Adidas, they got a good eye for talent, I reckon.
Now, if you been watchin’ NBA for a while, you might remember Derrick Rose. Boy, he was a real phenom back when he started playin’ for the Chicago Bulls. Fast as lightning! He signed a real long contract with Adidas – 14 years, they say! Ain’t many folks gettin’ deals that long nowadays. He still playin’, even though he’s been through a lot with them injuries and such. But Adidas stuck with him, and he still got his own shoe out there.
So, ya see, even though Adidas ain’t makin’ them uniforms for the NBA no more, they still got a good handful of players wearin’ their shoes. And not just any players, mind ya, but some of the best fellas out there, real stars. I reckon they know what they doin’. Some folks might say Nike’s the big dog in the sports world, but Adidas is still hangin’ in there, especially with these NBA players.
Adidas knows how to pick them right, from the quick fellas like Lillard to the sharpshooters like Young. They still out there on the court, making sure folks see their shoes, and I reckon that’s what keeps ‘em in the game.
