Alright, so you wanna know about this Don Bosco football thing, huh? Sounds fancy, but lemme tell ya, it’s just a bunch of boys runnin’ around with a ball. But folks seem to care, so I’ll tell ya what I heard.
So, this Don Bosco, they got a football team. Like, a real one with helmets and all that. And they got a schedule, which is just a fancy word for when they play. It’s like, “Okay, we gonna fight… I mean, play… these fellas on this day, and then them other fellas on that day.” You get it?

This here schedule, it ain’t just made up outta thin air, ya know. Someone sits down and figures it all out. They gotta think about who they wanna play, where they gonna play ‘em, and when. It’s more complicated than bakin’ a pie, I tell ya!
Now, this schedule they got for 2024-2025, it’s got all sorts of games. Some they call “scrimmages,” which is like practice, but with another team. Then they got the real games, the “regular season” they call it. That’s when it really matters, I guess.
I heard tell they’re playin’ some fellas from Archbishop Hoban and Red Bank Catholic. Sounds like big names, but to me, they’re just boys in pads. Still, people get all worked up about it. They even try to guess who’s gonna win. Like they got a crystal ball or somethin’! They talk about “predicted scores” and “win probabilities.” Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but what do I know?
- They got dates and times for all the games. So you know when to show up and holler, I guess.
- They got locations, too. Where they gonna be playin’ at. Some games are at home, some are away. It’s like a travelin’ show, but with more gruntin’ and less singin’.
- And then, after the game, they got the “results.” That’s just who won and who lost. Simple as that.
So, if you wanna see this Don Bosco team play, you gotta look at their schedule. It’ll tell you everything you need to know. When, where, and who they’re playin’ against. Just don’t ask me to explain all them fancy football rules. I just know they run around and try to get that ball across a line. Sounds like a waste of good energy if you ask me, but folks seem to like it.
And they got this thing called a “roster” too. That’s just a list of all the boys on the team. I ain’t gonna list ‘em all here, there’s too many. But you can probably find it somewhere if you really care. They also got “rankings,” which is like who’s the best and who’s the worst. Again, folks get real worked up about it, but me? I just care if they’re good boys, ya know? Polite and respectful.

This Don Bosco place, it’s a high school, I think. Don Bosco Preparatory High School, they call it. Sounds mighty important. And this football team, well, it’s a big deal to some folks. So, if you’re one of them folks, go find that schedule. It’s out there somewhere, probably on that internet thingamajig. Just search for “Don Bosco Football Schedule” and you’ll find it. Easy peasy.
Just remember, it’s just a game. Don’t get too riled up about it. There’s more important things in life than watchin’ a bunch of boys chase a ball. Like bakin’ a good pie or tendin’ to your garden. But hey, to each their own, I always say. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my biscuits.
