Okay, so, I was super hyped for this big boxing match, right? And I was like, where’s the best place to catch it? I didn’t want to just stream it at home, you know? I wanted that whole vibe, the crowd, the energy.
So, the first place that popped into my head was Buffalo Wild Wings. I mean, they’ve got tons of TVs, wings, beer – it seemed like a no-brainer. But I wasn’t sure if they actually showed pay-per-view boxing events. I’d heard of them showing UFC fights, but boxing? That was the question.

I hit up Google, started digging around. Found a few things. Some folks online were saying BWW pays a good chunk of change, like a few thousand dollars, to show UFC events. Which is crazy, right? That made me wonder, do they do the same for boxing?
Then I stumbled upon this article from USA TODAY. Apparently, Buffalo Wild Wings was showing some fight, and they even had a special deal going on – the “Pick 6” thing where you get a bunch of food and drinks for like 20 bucks. That sounded pretty sweet.
Here’s What I Found Out:
- Some locations do show the fights. It’s not every single one, but a good number of them.
- It gets crowded. Like, really crowded. People were saying you gotta get there early to snag a good spot, and it’s better to keep your group small, like under five people.
- It can be pricey. Between the food, the drinks, and maybe even a cover charge at some places, it adds up. I saw someone say that one night at BWW could pay for like six months of ESPN+!
After weighing my options I thought it wouldn’t hurt to give my local BWW a call. So I did that, asked them directly. Turns out they were showing it. I was stoked! Called up a couple of buddies, and we made a plan to head over there early on fight night.
We rolled in like two hours before the main event. The place was already buzzing. We managed to grab a table, ordered some wings and beers, and soaked in the atmosphere. It was awesome. The fight was epic, the crowd was into it, and even though BWW was packed, we had a blast.
So, yeah, Buffalo Wild Wings can be a solid option for watching PPV boxing. Just be prepared for crowds, get there early, and maybe bring some extra cash. It’s not the cheapest way to watch a fight, but for the whole experience, it was worth it.
