Well, ain’t this somethin’. You wanna know ’bout settin’ up them F1 cars for Abu Dhabi in that F1 23 game, huh? Alright, alright, settle down. I’ll tell ya what I know, though I ain’t no fancy racer or nothin’.
So, they got this place, Yas Marina Circuit, they call it. Fancy name, if you ask me. Sounds like some kinda exotic flower or somethin’. Anyways, this is where they finish up the whole racin’ season, like the big finale. And they say this setup I’m gonna tell ya ’bout is a real strong one, a real winner.

- Aerodynamics
Now, let’s talk ’bout them wings, front and back. They say you gotta have ’em just right. Front wing at 30 and the rear wing at 25, they say. I dunno what them numbers mean, but they say it helps the car stick to the ground like glue. And you want that, don’t ya? You don’t wanna go flyin’ off into the dirt.
- Transmission
Then there’s the gears and stuff. They say 50% for the on-throttle differential and 55% for the off-throttle. Sounds like gibberish to me, but they say it helps when you’re turnin’ and speedin’ up. You gotta have that just right, or you’ll be spinnin’ like a top.
- Suspension Geometry
And the wheels, oh my. They gotta be tilted just so. Front camber at -2.70 and rear camber at -1.00. And the toe, whatever that is, front at 0.05 and rear at 0.20. Sounds like a lot of fussin’ to me, but they say it makes the car handle better. Like drivin’ on butter, they say.
- Suspension
Now, for the bouncin’ parts, they call it suspension. Stiff as a board, that’s what you want, they say. 35 for the front suspension and 8 for the rear. And the ride height, gotta keep that low to the ground. 35 for the front and 40 for the rear. Makes the car zip around like a scared rabbit.
- Brakes
And don’t forget the stoppers, the brakes. 100% brake pressure, they say. You gotta stop on a dime, especially when you’re racin’ like a bat outta hell. And the brake bias, 56% to the front. Whatever that means, it helps keep the car from skiddin’ all over the place.

- Tyres
Last but not least, the tires. Gotta have the right pressure, they say. Front tires at 23.5 psi and rear tires at 21.0 psi. Keeps ’em grippin’ the road, like a good pair of work boots.
So, there ya have it. That’s what they say you need for settin’ up your F1 car for Abu Dhabi in that F1 23 game. Now, I ain’t sayin’ I know much ’bout racin’, but they say this setup will give ya the edge, help ya win the race. Just practice with it, they say, and you’ll be standin’ on that podium, grinnin’ like a possum eatin’ a sweet potato.
Now go on, git to racin’. And don’t forget what I told ya!
