These bags can get big, so make sure it’s got room for yer bat, glove, helmet, and any extra stuff ya might be packin’.
9. Protective Cup
Don’t matter if yer young or old, if ya plan on playin’ safe, ya best wear a protective cup. It’s just one of those things ya don’t talk about much, but it sure keeps ya safe if a ball goes flyin’ low. So, yep, add it to the list.
10. Uniform
Every team’s gotta look like a team, right? So ya need a uniform. Might be a shirt, pants, a cap – depends on the team, but usually they’re made outta material that’s good for runnin’ ‘round and gettin’ dirty. And, of course, it makes ya look like a real player out there.
11. Baseball Cap
A baseball cap ain’t just for show, ya know. It keeps the sun outta yer eyes when ya tryin’ to catch a high fly ball. Plus, it’s part of the look, so don’t go playin’ without one.
12. First Aid Kit
Lastly, it’s always a good idea to have a first aid kit nearby. Baseball’s fun, but folks trip, get a little scraped up, or might catch a ball in a funny way. Better safe than sorry, so just toss in a few band-aids and wraps just in case.
