Alright, so, you wanna know about them UConn Huskies and their baseball games, eh? I went to a game once. Loud, it was. Lots of yellin’ and cheerin’. Reminded me of a barnyard at feedin’ time.
How to Find the Schedule, Now That’s the Trick
Findin’ the schedule, well, that’s the tricky part. You can’t just go askin’ the boys, they’re busy practisin’ and such. These days, everything’s on the “internet,” they tell me. You gotta go on that thing, type in some words, and hope for the best. I heard tell you can search for “UConn Huskies baseball schedule 2024” or somethin’ like that. Folks say it works, but I ain’t so sure. I prefer the newspaper, myself, but they don’t print much about baseball schedules these days, more interested in them politicians and their goings-on.
- Try searchin’ online for “Connecticut Huskies live scores” if you wanna know what’s happenin’ right now. That’s what my grandson told me. He’s always on that phone of his.
- Or you can look for “UConn Baseball schedule and results.” That should give you the whole shebang, past games and future ones too. They keep track of everything these days, even how many times a feller strikes out. Imagine that!
What Else You Should Know About Them Huskies
Now, about the team itself. They got a coach, a fella named Jim Penders. Been coachin’ for a while, I hear. Seems like a nice enough fella, always wearin’ a hat. And them boys play hard, gotta give ’em that. They run around, swing them bats, and try to hit that little white ball. Sometimes they do good, sometimes they don’t. That’s just the way it is.
They’re in somethin’ called “NCAA Division I”. That just means they play against the best college teams around. It’s serious business, this college baseball. They even went to somethin’ called the “Regionals” one year and beat Oklahoma. Big deal, that was. Folks were talkin’ about it for weeks.
And remember, this schedule stuff changes. Games get rained out, times get moved around. So, you gotta keep checkin’ back, seein’ if anything’s changed. Don’t wanna go to the ballpark and find out there ain’t no game, now do ya? Been there, done that. Not fun.
