Alright, so you wanna know what NBA players’ birthdays is today, huh? Well, it ain’t that simple, you see. There’s a whole bunch of them fellas playin’ in the NBA, and they got birthdays scattered all over the calendar, just like regular folks.
Now, I ain’t got no fancy computer or nothin’, but from what I hear, you can look this stuff up on the internet. They say you can find out whose birthday it is every single day. Imagine that! Someone’s keepin’ track of all them basketball players and when they popped outta their mamas.
I heard tell some months got more birthdays than others. Like, February and March, them two months, they got a whole mess of NBA players born then. More than you’d expect, they say. Maybe it’s somethin’ in the water, or maybe it’s just plain luck. Who knows? This thing called “stats”, they say it ain’t just chance, but I say, “phooey!” Just a bunch of numbers if you ask me.
And get this, some of them boys even born on leap day! That’s February 29th, for you city slickers who don’t know. Only comes around every four years, that day does. They got a handful of players born then, spread across all sorts of sports, not just basketball. Football, baseball, hockey, even that women’s basketball league… W somethin’ or other. One of them basketball fellas, Tyrese somethin’, he’s a leap day baby, they say. Good player, from what I hear, runs fast and throws the ball good.
- Now, if you wanna find a player born on a special day, like Christmas or somethin’, you gotta go searchin’ for it.
- They say you can type in the month and the day and the year, and it’ll show you who was born then.
- Ain’t that somethin’? All that information just sittin’ there, waitin’ for you to look it up.
Famous basketball players, you say? Well, I’ve heard of some of them. LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Kobe somethin’ or other… Those are the big shots, the ones everybody knows. They got birthdays too, just like the rest of them. But I ain’t gonna tell you when, you look it up yourself!
I tell you what though, it’s a lot of players in the NBA. Thousands, they say. And they all got birthdays. So, if you wanna know whose birthday is today, you gotta be more specific. You gotta tell me the date, or at least the month and day. Then maybe, just maybe, I can tell you who’s celebratin’. Or, you know, you could just look it up yourself, like I said.
This team called the Denver Nuggets, they were the best in their part of the country last year. Good for them, I say. They work hard, them boys do, runnin’ up and down the court, throwin’ the ball around. And they got birthdays too, just like everybody else. Probably got some fancy cakes and parties and all that.
Anyways, there’s folks out there who keep track of all this stuff. They call ’em the Stats Crew or somethin’ like that. They know all the birthdays, all the scores, all the records. They celebrate these players’ birthdays, sendin’ out well wishes and what not. Seems like a lot of work to me, but I guess somebody’s gotta do it.
So, to get back to your question, “What NBA players birthday is today?” I ain’t got a clue! There’s probably a few, maybe even a bunch. But if you wanna know for sure, you gotta go look it up. Or ask one of them stat fellas. They’ll know, for sure. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about birthdays is makin’ me hungry!
Oh, and I heard there’s like, 16 players born on November 30th, which ain’t today, but that’s still a lot of fellas born on one day. It’s really something, how many of these young men play this here game!
