Okay, so I wanted to watch the China Open tennis matches, but I wasn’t sure how to go about it since I’m not in China. Here’s what I did, and hopefully, it helps someone else out there!
Figuring Out Where to Watch
First things first, I needed to find out which channels or streaming services were actually showing the matches. I did a quick search online. I found some information.

My Streaming Attempts
- I tried my usual sports streaming subscriptions. Think those big-name ones everyone uses. No luck. They weren’t covering the China Open, at least not for my location.
- Then I remembered about those services that let you change your virtual location.I messed around settings for a bit.
Success! (Sort Of)
Eventually, by using these streaming services, I managed to find a stream. It wasn’t perfect – the quality dipped in and out a few times – but hey, I was watching the China Open! I could see the players and the crowd, and even though the commentary wasn’t my first language, I could follow the game just fine.
What I Learned
It’s totally possible to watch the China Open even if you’re not physically there. It might take a little bit of effort and experimenting with different options, but don’t give up! I realized that.
I recorded my whole experience of searching and watching in my diary.
So, that was my adventure in watching the China Open. Hopefully, this helps someone. Good luck, and enjoy the matches!
