Alright, so you wanna know about that Thursday night football game, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t like the old days when you just turned on the TV and there it was. Things are all fancy now, on that “Prime Video” thingamajig.
Now, they say most of these games start around 8:15 PM Eastern Time. That’s, what, 5:15 PM out on the West Coast? Something like that. But you gotta remember, it ain’t on regular TV no more. Not on yer NBC, ABC, CBS, or that Fox channel. Nope, it’s all on that Prime Video, so you gotta have that membership, or whatever they call it.

What time does that Thursday Night Football game come on? Well, like I said, 8:15 PM Eastern Time is the usual time. But you gotta check, see? ‘Cause sometimes they might change it up on ya. And it ain’t like the old days when you could just flip through the channels. You gotta go to that Prime Video thing and find it. It’s a whole rigmarole, if you ask me.
They call it “Thursday Night Football,” or TNF for short. Fancy, huh? They used to have it on CBS sometimes, but not anymore. Now it’s all about that Prime Video. And let me tell ya, it’s kinda confusin’. You gotta have the internet, and that membership, and then you gotta figure out how to work the darn thing.
- First, you gotta get that Prime Video.
- Then, you gotta find the game.
- And then, you gotta hope your internet don’t crap out on ya.
They got all sorts of games, all season long. You can even look up the schedule, see who’s playin’ when. But it’s all on that Prime Video. They say it’s “exclusive,” whatever that means. Just means it’s harder to watch, if you ask me.
And don’t even get me started on them announcers. They talk so fast and use all them fancy words. I just wanna watch the game, not listen to some fella yap on and on about “stats” and “strategies.” Back in my day, the announcers just told you who had the ball and who was winnin’. Simple as that.
So, if you wanna watch that Thursday night game, you gotta get with the times, I guess. Get that Prime Video, figure out how it works, and then you can watch your football. Just remember, 8:15 PM Eastern Time is usually when it starts. But don’t blame me if they change it up on ya. It’s all so complicated these days.

And another thing, they got these games all season long. You can plan yer whole Thursday nights around ’em, if you’re a real fanatic. They even got scores and all that fancy stuff on that Prime Video thing. It’s like a whole ‘nother world, I tell ya.
This week, they had a game, and last week too. They always have some team or other playin’. Sometimes it’s the Steelers, sometimes it’s the Browns, sometimes it’s them Dolphins and Bills. It’s always someone, though. That’s for sure.
And they say you can watch it on “NFL+” too, whatever that is. Sounds like more fancy stuff to me. Seems like you need a subscription for everything these days. Back in my day, you just needed a TV and a good antenna. Now you need a computer, the internet, and a bunch of different memberships.
So, there you have it. That’s the lowdown on that Thursday Night Football game. It’s on Prime Video, usually starts at 8:15 PM Eastern Time, and it’s a whole lot more complicated than it used to be. But hey, at least you get to watch the football, right?
