Today, I really wanted to watch the NASCAR Cup qualifying. But, I wasn’t sure which channel it was going to be on, or what time. So, I started digging around to find out.
First, I looked up “What channel is NASCAR qualifying on today?” I figured that was a good place to start. A few different results popped up, which was kind of a pain. It seemed like the channel and time changed depending on the specific race.

I saw that for the Daytona race, qualifying was at 4 p.m. CT on Friday, and it was going to be on the USA Network. Cool, I wrote that down.
- Checked for Daytona race: 4 p.m. CT on Friday, USA Network.
But then, I noticed another result for a race in Martinsville. That one had a different time, but it was also on the USA Network.
- Checked for Martinsville race: Different time, USA Network.
There was even more! A race in Nashville was listed. This one was at 1:50 p.m. CT on Saturday, also on the USA Network.
- Checked for Nashville race: 1:50 p.m. CT on Saturday, USA Network.
Then I found one for Phoenix. That qualifying was at 4 p.m. CT on Saturday, once again on the USA Network. And for the Gateway race, it was 9:15 a.m. CT on Saturday, but this time on FS1.
- Checked for Phoenix race: 4 p.m. CT on Saturday, USA Network.
- Checked for Gateway race: 9:15 a.m. CT on Saturday, FS1.
So, it looks like the USA Network is a pretty safe bet for most of the qualifying events. But sometimes, it’s on FS1, and the time changes depending on the race. It’s good to check the specific race you want to watch to be sure.

Also, I noticed that SiriusXM was mentioned as a radio option for all of these. So, if you’re not near a TV, you could listen in on the radio. There were also some streaming options, like FUBO or the NBC Sports app. But those seemed to need a subscription or something. It mentioned something about a free trial for FUBO, though. I also learned that I could check for audio on and SiriusXM, but I needed subscriptions for those too.
Here’s what I found out:
- Most qualifying events are on the USA Network.
- Sometimes, it’s on FS1.
- The time changes depending on the race.
- SiriusXM is a radio option.
- FUBO and the NBC Sports app are streaming options.
So yeah, that’s what I did to find out what channel NASCAR qualifying was on today. It took a little bit of searching, but I got the info I needed. Hopefully, this helps you out if you’re trying to catch the qualifying too!
