Alright, let’s talk about this F1 thing, the 2024 season. I heard some things, you know, like them cars, they still got that same engine, that 1.6-liter thingy, been around for a while now. They say next year, maybe the year after, they’ll change it, but for now, it’s the same old.
And them cars, they ain’t changed much either. Same chassis, they say. Ain’t no big fuss about it. But that Renault, they’re gone, packed up and left. Don’t know why, maybe they got tired, maybe they weren’t winning enough, who knows? Just gone.
Now, this British fella, Lando Norris, he’s somethin’ else. Quick as a whip, that one. He won somethin’ in Qatar, some kinda pole position. Made them folks over there happy, I reckon. He’s drivin’ for that McLaren team. They seem to be doin’ alright.
Speaking of McLaren, I heard folks wonderin’ if they could win the whole shebang, that constructor championship thing. I don’t know, seems like a long shot. But hey, stranger things have happened, right? They gotta be real good, beat all them other teams. It ain’t easy, I tell ya.
- They got them F1 Academy gals too. Them young ladies, they’re racin’ too. Goin’ at it real hard.
- Somethin’ about a title decider, sounds important. Good for them, I say. Gotta start somewhere, right?
And then there’s this Max Verstappen fella. Heard he won the whole thing again, that driver’s title. In Las Vegas, no less! Flashy place, that Vegas. He’s drivin’ for Red Bull, them fellas are always winnin’. He beat that Norris fella, seems like he’s the top dog right now.
They say there’s only three races left in the season. Three more times to watch them cars go zoomin’ around. It’s been a long season, lots of racin’. Some folks get all excited about it, yellin’ and screamin’ at the TV. Me? I just watch, have a cup of tea, see who wins.
It’s all a bit complicated, all them rules and regulations. But the cars are fast, that’s for sure. And them drivers, they’re brave, takin’ them corners at a hundred miles an hour. Crazy if you ask me.
So, that’s the news I heard about this F1 2024 season. Same engines, same cars mostly, McLaren doin’ alright, Verstappen winnin’ again. And three races left to go. Don’t know what else to tell ya. It is what it is.
Them cars, they make a real loud noise, don’t they? Like a swarm of bees, but bigger and meaner. And so fast! They whiz by in a blur. I don’t know how them drivers see where they’re going. I guess they’re young and got good eyes, not like these old peepers of mine.
Heard some folks complainin’ about the tires, wearin’ out too fast or somethin’. Always somethin’ to complain about. If it ain’t the tires, it’s the engine, or the brakes, or somethin’ else. Can’t please everybody, I guess.
But it’s somethin’ to watch, I suppose. Something different. Better than watchin’ the grass grow, that’s for sure. So I’ll tune in, see what happens in them last few races. Maybe that Norris fella will win one, who knows. Or maybe Verstappen will just keep on winnin’. We’ll see.
