Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure out this whole “F1 WAGs Instagram” thing. I mean, I love Formula 1, and, well, who doesn’t love a good Instagram rabbit hole? So I figured, why not combine the two? Here’s how I went about it, and what I found.
First, I started with the obvious: the drivers. I already followed most of the big names on Instagram – you know, Hamilton, Verstappen, Leclerc. The usual suspects. I figured their partners would be tagged in photos or mentioned in stories, right?

So, I went through their profiles. I scrolled through recent posts, checked out their tagged photos (that’s a goldmine, by the way!), and even peeked at their story highlights. Sometimes the drivers are pretty private, but often, you’ll find a sneaky picture of them with their significant others, especially after a race win or during the off-season.
This worked pretty well for some. For example, it was easy to find Max Verstappen’s girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, because she’s often at the races and he posts about her a bit. Others, not so much. Some drivers are super low-key about their personal lives.
Next, I moved on to dedicated F1 fan accounts. There are tons of them! I searched for hashtags like #F1WAGs, #Formula1WAGs, and even just #F1. These accounts often post paparazzi shots, fan sightings, and even compile information from various sources. They’re like the gossip columns of the F1 world, but on Instagram.
- I followed a few of the bigger, more reliable-looking accounts.
- I turned on notifications for some, just to see what they were posting. (A bit much, maybe, but I was committed!)
- I scrolled and scrolled and scrolled, the explore page is amazing.
This is where things got interesting. I discovered WAGs I hadn’t even heard of! It’s like a whole parallel universe of glamorous women living this fast-paced, jet-setting life. Designer clothes, exotic vacations, and, of course, lots of pictures at the racetrack.
I also used the “Explore” page on Instagram. I typed in keywords like “F1,” “Formula 1,” “Monaco Grand Prix” (because, let’s be honest, that’s where a lot of the action happens!), and even the names of specific circuits. Instagram’s algorithm is pretty good at showing you related content, so I ended up finding even more accounts this way.

My takeaway?
It’s a surprisingly deep rabbit hole! There’s a whole community dedicated to tracking the lives of these women. And honestly, their Instagram accounts are often pretty entertaining. It’s a mix of fashion, travel, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the world of Formula 1. You will definitely discover amazing things!
It took a bit of digging, but it was a fun little project. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some more scrolling to do…
