Okay, so I’ve been a die-hard NBA fan for years, and I’ve always struggled with how to watch all the games. Cable packages are a rip-off, and streaming can be a pain. I’d heard about adding NBA League Pass to YouTube TV, and I figured, “Why not give it a shot?”
The Hunt Begins
First things first, I needed to see if this was even possible. I’ve got YouTube TV, which I love for regular channels, but could I really get League Pass on there too? I did some digging, some simple searching.

Signing Up (or Trying To)
So, YouTube TV does offer NBA League Pass as an add-on. Awesome! I went into my YouTube TV account settings, looked for the “Membership” area. There it was, staring me in the face: NBA League Pass. I clicked to add it.
The Options Game
You’ve got two main choices:
- NBA League Pass: This is supposed to give you access to all out-of-market games.
- NBA Team Pass: This lets you pick just one team to follow. Cheaper, but I’m a “watch everyone” kind of guy.
I chose the full NBA League Pass. It’s pricier, obviously, but I want to be able to watch my favorite teams even if they aren’t local. I went ahead and hit that “add” button.
Payment Stuff
You know the drill. Credit card info, confirm the purchase… all that standard stuff. It’s added right to your regular YouTube TV bill, which is pretty convenient. No separate bills to worry about.
Actually Watching the Games
Once I was all signed up, finding the games was pretty easy. They show up in the YouTube TV interface, usually in the “Home” or “Live” tabs. You can also search for specific teams or games, which is helpful.

My final thought
I have successfully added NBA League Pass to Youtube TV, that’s for sure.
