Well, let me tell you, I heard a lot of folks talking ’bout this car race, this F1 Las Vegas thing. They say it’s a big deal, cars going zoom zoom real fast. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so I asked my grandson, “How do you watch F1 Las Vegas on TV?” He’s good with these things, always on that computer.
Figuring Out the TV Thing
He told me it’s on that ESPN channel. We got that one, I think. Used to watch it with his grandpa, God rest his soul. Anyways, he said if you got cable, you’re good to go. Just turn on the TV and find that ESPN. He also mentioned something called ESPN+, said it was streaming, like that Netflix thing he watches. I don’t know much about that, but if you like watching things on your phone or computer, maybe that’s for you.

He said this whole shebang is called the FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN SILVER LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2024. Sounds fancy, don’t it? All them fancy words. But basically, it’s just a big race in Las Vegas. And it’s gonna be on Saturday, November 23. That’s what I heard anyway.
When to Watch This Race
Now, this part is a little confusing. They say it starts at 10:00 PM. That’s late, ain’t it? But that’s local time. What does that even mean? I guess it means 10:00 PM in Las Vegas. I reckon it’s different here. Might be earlier or later, depending on where you are. Best check with your TV guide or something. That’s what my grandson said to do anyway.
He also said that because it’s so late, there won’t be no football games on at the same time. So you can watch the whole thing without missing your football. Less fighting over the remote, I guess! That’s good news for some folks, I reckon.
- ESPN: That’s the main place to watch it.
- ESPN+: For them streaming folks.
- Saturday, November 23: Mark your calendars!
- 10:00 PM local time: Late night race, it is.
Getting Tickets Ain’t Cheap
Now, some folks, they’re going to this thing in person. My neighbor’s son, he’s going. Said he got tickets. Must be nice to have that kind of money. I heard them tickets are expensive. Real expensive. He said he got them online, from some place called Vivid Seats or SeatGeek. Sounds like a made-up name to me.
He said they’re “last-minute tickets.” I don’t know what that means. Maybe they’re cheaper? But I doubt it. Everything’s expensive these days. I heard the price of milk is sky high, can you believe it?

I reckon if you ain’t got the money to go, watching it on TV is the next best thing. At least you don’t have to deal with all them crowds. And you can wear your pajamas! That’s a win in my book.
All Them Fancy Cars
I saw some pictures of them cars. They look like spaceships! All sleek and shiny. Not like the old clunkers we used to drive. My husband, God bless him, he could fix anything with a wrench and some duct tape. But I don’t think even he could fix one of these things.
They say these cars go real fast. Faster than anything you ever seen. I guess that’s why they’re so popular. People like to see things go fast. Makes ’em feel alive, I suppose. Me, I’m happy with a nice slow walk in the park. But to each their own, as they say.
It’s a Big Deal, I Guess
So, this F1 Las Vegas thing, it’s a big deal. Lots of people are talking about it. And now you know how to watch F1 Las Vegas on TV. If you got ESPN, you’re set. If you like that streaming stuff, there’s ESPN+. Just remember it’s on Saturday, November 23, at 10:00 PM their time, whatever that means.
And if you’re one of them lucky folks going to the race, well, good for you. Have fun, and try not to spend all your money on them overpriced hot dogs. As for me, I’ll be here, in my comfy chair, watching it on the TV. Maybe I’ll even make some popcorn. Now that’s what I call a good time. I think that I have already told you all things about how to watch it on TV.
