Okay, so I was watching the NFL games last weekend, and it got me thinking – which teams actually play in a dome? It’s always interesting to see how the weather, or lack of it, can affect a game. So, I decided to do a little digging of my own and find out.
My Little Research Project
First, I grabbed my laptop and opened up my trusty search engine. I typed in something simple like “NFL teams with domes” and hit enter. BOOM. Tons of stuff popped up.

I started clicking through some of the results, mostly sports websites and some fan forums. It took me a while to find a good list and to be sure.
The Dome Teams
After my deep dive (okay, it wasn’t that deep), here’s what I found:
- Detroit Lions – They play in Ford Field.
- Minnesota Vikings – U.S. Bank Stadium is their home.
- New Orleans Saints – These guys have the Caesars Superdome.
- Atlanta Falcons – Mercedes-Benz Stadium, that’s their spot.
- Indianapolis Colts – Lucas Oil Stadium is where they play.
- Dallas Cowboys – AT&T Stadium, a pretty famous one.
- Arizona Cardinals – They’ve got State Farm Stadium.
- Las Vegas Raiders – Allegiant Stadium.
- Los Angeles Rams – Home is SoFi Stadium.
- Los Angeles Chargers – Also, SoFi Stadium.
So there you have it! That’s my little rundown of the NFL teams that play their home games under a roof. It was a fun little research project, and I actually learned something new. Always a good day when that happens!
