I hear people talkin’ ’bout this Scorigami thing in the NFL. Sounds fancy, huh? But what in the tarnation is it? And is 22-19 a Scorigami? Let me tell ya what I’ve figured out.
What’s This Scorigami Thing?
Well, from what I gather, Scorigami is when a football game ends with a score that’s never happened before in the history of the NFL. Like, ever. It’s like findin’ a four-leaf clover in a whole field of regular ones. Rare, ya see?

Some scores, they just can’t happen. Ain’t no way a game can end 1-0, or 2-1, or 3-1. Don’t ask me why, that’s just how them football fellas made the rules. It’s like tryin’ to fit a square peg in a round hole. Just ain’t gonna work.
So, this Scorigami thing, it’s all about keepin’ track of these scores. They got this big ol’ chart, I reckon, and they mark down every single final score of every single game. If a score pops up that ain’t never been seen before, ding ding ding! That’s a Scorigami!
So, is 22-19 a Scorigami?
Now, this here score, 22-19, that’s what everyone’s wonderin’ about. Has it happened before? Or is it one of them special Scorigami scores?
I did some lookin’ around, like a hen peckin’ for seeds, and it seems like 22-19 ain’t no Scorigami, that score has happened before in NFL history. It’s not as common as, say, 20-17. But it ain’t unique neither.
- 22-19 ain’t no Scorigami
- It’s happened before
- Not super common, but not special
It’s like findin’ a regular ol’ rock on the ground. It’s a rock, alright. But it ain’t no shiny diamond.

Why Do Folks Care About Scorigami?
Why do folks get so worked up about this Scorigami, you ask? Well, I reckon it’s ’cause everyone loves somethin’ new and different. It’s like gettin’ a new recipe for apple pie. Same ol’ pie, but with a little somethin’ extra. It makes the game more excitin’, I guess. Gives folks somethin’ to talk about ’round the water cooler. Some say Scorigami make NFL more fun.
They say some fella named Bois made a chart of all these scores, tryin’ to figure out which ones ain’t never happened. He’s the one who came up with this Scorigami name, I hear. Smart fella, probably.
Other Scorigami Scores
There’s been other Scorigami scores in the past, they say. Like that one time, the Seattle Seahawks beat the Denver Broncos 43-8 in the Super Bowl. 43-8! Never happened before that game. That was a real Scorigami, a big one.
And just recently, they say there was a 52-6 game. Another Scorigami! First time ever a game ended 52-6. Folks were hootin’ and hollerin’ about that one.
- 43-8 was a Scorigami
- 52-6 was a Scorigami
- Lots of scores still ain’t happened yet
How Do They Keep Track of All This?
I imagine they got some fancy computer program that keeps track of all these scores. Or maybe just a real big notebook and a whole lotta pencils. Either way, it’s a lot of numbers to keep straight. More numbers than I can count on my fingers and toes, that’s for sure.

They got this thing called “pro football reference” where you can look up all the scores, I hear. Sounds complicated, but I guess it works. They even have a place to check if a score is Scorigami.
Will There Be More Scorigami?
You bet your bottom dollar there will be! As long as they keep playin’ football, there’s gonna be new scores poppin’ up. It’s like the weather, always changin’. You never know what you’re gonna get.
Maybe one day we’ll see a 100-99 game. Now that would be a Scorigami for the ages! Wouldn’t that be somethin’? Probably need a whole lotta extra time for that one, though. And maybe new rules in NFL.
So, there ya have it. That’s all I know about this Scorigami business. It’s a fun little thing, I guess. Keeps folks entertained. And who knows, maybe one day your favorite team will get a Scorigami. Wouldn’t that be a hoot?
Scorigami, it is a fun word, right? But don’t be too sad if your team didn’t have that in a game. It is fun, but it is not that important.
