Okay, so I’ve been getting really into the NBA 2k series lately, and with all the buzz around Bronny James, I got super curious. Is this guy actually in NBA 2k24 or what? I had to find out for myself.
First, I fired up my console and launched the game. I figured the easiest way to check was to just dive into the team rosters. I scrolled through the teams, and my eyes immediately locked on the Los Angeles Lakers – a pretty obvious starting point, right?

My Journey
- Started the game.
- Navigated to roster.
- Selected the Los Angeles Lakers.
But, plot twist! He wasn’t there. Nope, no Bronny. I was a little bummed, not gonna lie. But I’m not one to give up that easily. I started digging around online, and it turns out I wasn’t the only one wondering about this.
I learned that the Lakers actually picked Bronny James as the No. 55 overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft. Apparently, his contract is guaranteed for four years and $7.9 million. Pretty cool, right? Some folks are saying he’s been killing it in the G League, and there were even rumors about him showing up at the G League Winter Showcase.
So, I went back to NBA 2k24, thinking maybe there’s a way to download updated rosters or something. And, bam! There he was. I found him on the Los Angeles Lakers roster. I learned that he is a 20-year old American professional basketball player who plays at the Shooting Guard or Point Guard position.
And you know what the best part is? I learned that he and LeBron became the first father-son duo to play on the same team in an NBA game. After that, I played a few games with Bronny on my team. It was pretty awesome to see a father and son playing together.
So, yeah, long story short – Bronny James is in NBA 2k24. It just took a little digging to figure it out.
