Alright, listen up, gonna tell ya ’bout these fellas, Jalen Hurts and Justin Fields. Heard folks talkin’ ’bout ’em, all this stats this and stats that. Don’t know much ’bout all them fancy numbers, but I can tell ya what I see.

So, this Hurts fella, plays for them Eagles. Folks sayin’ he took ’em to somethin’ called the Super Bowl last year. Big deal, I guess. Now, this here paper says he ran for a whole lotta yards, somethin’ ’bout 772. That’s a lotta runnin’! And he scored, what, 11 times runnin’ the ball? My, my, must be fast like a jackrabbit.

Then there’s this Fields kid, plays for the Bears. He runs too, this paper says he ran for, uh, one… one somethin’. Don’t say how much, just one. Guess he ain’t runnin’ as much as Hurts.

Now, this other paper, got more numbers. Confusin’ stuff, but it says Hurts, he threw the ball… completed… somethin’ ’bout 1,000 out of 1,578. That’s a lot of throwin’, I reckon. And somethin’ ’bout 11… somethin’ somethin’. Too many numbers for this old gal.

And this… passer ratin’ thing? Hurts got 90.7. Don’t know what that means, but sounds high. And he got a whole bunch of yards, 12,694. My goodness, that’s a long ways!

They got this thing, says compare ’em, Hurts and Fields, side by side. Don’t know why, just two fellas playin’ ball. But it’s got more numbers, makes my head spin.

Folks arguin’ who’s better, Hurts or Fields. Don’t know, both play football, both run around. Hurts runs more, seems like, scores more too. But maybe Fields is good at somethin’ else, throwin’ maybe? Hard to say with all them numbers.

And you can see the stats for Hurts, what he did in each game, against who he played. Lots of information, but hard for me to understand it all. Just seein’ numbers don’t tell ya the whole story. Gotta see ’em play, see how they move, how they throw, how they run.

So, Hurts and Fields. Two young fellas playin’ football. Hurts runs a lot, scores touchdowns. Throws the ball good too, seems like. Fields runs some, but not as much. Maybe he’s got other tricks up his sleeve.
