Alright, alright, let me tell ya ’bout this men’s skateboardin’ world rankin’ thing. You know, these young fellas, they jump and flip on them boards, real fancy-like. Some folks keep track of who’s the best at it. They got this list, see?
Now, how they figure out who’s top dog? They watch these fellas skate in competitions all over the world. They count points or somethin’, I ain’t too sure. But if you win or do really good, you get more points. More points, higher you go on the list. It’s like keepin’ score, but fancy.
I heard tell there’s this fella, Yuto Horigome, from Japan. They say he’s real good. Jumps around like a flea on a hot skillet, but makes it look easy. He probably up there on that list, betcha.
- They got these big competitions, like the Olympics. Yep, them winter games, you know? They skateboardin’ in them now. Win that, you get a heap of points, I reckon.
- Then there’s these other competitions, run by some group called World Skate. They the bosses of skateboardin’, I guess. They got their own list too.
- And another one, ISU. They got somethin’ to do with ice skatin’, but they also trackin’ skateboardin’ now. Go figure.
So many lists, hard to keep track! But all of ’em tell you who’s good at this skateboardin’ thing. Who’s jumpin’ the highest, spinnin’ the fastest, landin’ the cleanest. That’s what matters, I suppose.
They say lots of people skateboardin’ these days. Millions of ’em, all over the world. Young kids mostly. Gotta have good balance, I’ll tell ya that. Not for old bones like mine. But fun to watch, those fellas flyin’ through the air.
Now, this list, it changes all the time. Someone wins a competition, they move up. Someone has a bad day, they move down. Just like life, ain’t it? One minute you’re on top, the next you’re on the bottom.
Anyways, if you wanna know who’s the best skateboarder in the world, you gotta look at them rankin’s. Don’t ask me to read ’em all though. Too many numbers and names. But I can tell ya, them fellas work hard. Practicin’ all day, fallin’ down, gettin’ back up. Gotta admire that, even if it looks a little crazy.
