Alright, let’s talk about this NASCAR race, you know, the one with all them cars goin’ round and round real fast. Folks keep askin’, “When’s it on? What channel?” Well, hold your horses, I’m gonna tell ya.
Now, sometimes them races are on regular TV, like that NBC channel. You know, the one with the peacock? Yeah, that one. And sometimes they’re on other channels, like FS1 or even that CW. It’s all a bit confusing, if you ask me. They keep switchin’ things around, makes it hard for an old lady to keep track.

This week’s race, or maybe it was last week, I can’t rightly remember, was supposed to be on… Shoot, I forgot already. Was it the one in Kansas? They got that big track there, the one they call Kansas Speedway. If it was that one, I think they said it was on at 3 p.m. Eastern time, they call it. That’s when them city folks eat their dinner, I reckon.
They got all these different races, ya know? The Cup Series, that’s the big one. Then there’s the Xfinity Series, those are kinda like the minor leagues, I guess. And then they got somethin’ called the All-Star Open, whatever that is. Too many races, if you ask me.
- Cup Series: That’s the main event, like I said. Them cars are real fast, and the drivers are always tryin’ to beat each other. It’s on different channels, so you gotta pay attention.
- Xfinity Series: These are the younger fellas, tryin’ to make a name for themselves. Sometimes they’re on the CW, sometimes somewhere else. It’s a real puzzle.
- All-Star Race: I don’t know much about this one, to be honest. Seems like a fancy name for another race. They probably have it on one of them cable channels, the ones you gotta pay extra for.
Now, if you wanna watch these races without payin’ for cable, you gotta find yourself one of them “streamin’” services, they call ’em. Like that Fubo thing. They say you can watch the races on there, but I don’t know nothin’ about that fancy technology. Sounds complicated to me.
And they got races all year long, practically. They call it the 2024 season, or maybe it’s 2025 already? I lose track. They start in the spring and go all the way ’til the fall, sometimes even later. They go to all different places, too. Daytona, Talladega, Charlotte… Sounds like a lot of drivin’ to me.
So, if you wanna know what channel the race is on, you gotta look it up. They got these things called “schedules,” and you can find ’em on the internet, or maybe in the newspaper, if they still print those things. Just look for the date and the race you want, and it should tell you what channel it’s on.

And remember, they always have them pre-race shows, where they talk about the drivers and the cars and all that stuff. And then after the race, they have more talkin’. It’s a whole lot of fuss over some cars goin’ in circles, if you ask me. But folks seem to like it, so I guess it’s alright.
I heard tell there was some crash, too. One of them Allgaier boys got mixed up in it. Hope he’s alright. These young fellas, they drive too fast, I tell ya. Always tryin’ to be the fastest, but sometimes it don’t end well.
Anyways, that’s all I know about the NASCAR races. Just gotta keep your eyes peeled and your ears open, and you might just catch one on TV. Or on that Fubo thing, if you’re fancy like that.
