Alright, so you wanna know who got the pole for the NASCAR race today, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t always so simple. These fellas, they drive around in circles real fast, and sometimes one’s faster than the other. It changes all the time, you know? Like the weather, one minute it’s sunshine, the next it’s rainin’ cats and dogs.
I heard tell that this fella, Martin Truex Jr., he got himself the pole position for the race over at Phoenix. Yep, Phoenix, Arizona. That’s what they were jabberin’ about on the TV. Said somethin’ about it bein’ his last race as a full-time driver. Imagine that! Retirin’ from racin’ cars. Guess he’s had enough of goin’ round and round.

Then there was that race down in Daytona. Hot dog, that’s a big one! Two fellas from the same team, Front Row Motorsports, they got the front row. Michael McDowell, he was the fastest, got the pole. And his teammate, some fella named Todd Gilliland, he was right behind him. That’s somethin’ special, ain’t it? Two fellas from the same shop startin’ up front.
And wouldn’t you know it, that Martin Truex Jr. fella, he got another pole too! This time it was in Martinsville, Virginia. They call it the Xfinity 500. He must be one heck of a driver, that fella. Goin’ fast is what he does, I reckon.
- But wait, there’s more!
- They race all over the place, these fellas.
Over in Bristol, Tennessee, Alex Bowman, he got the pole. That’s a night race, they say. Racen’ under the lights. Sounds excitin’, don’t it? All them bright lights shinin’ and the cars zoomin’ around.
And then there’s Charlotte, North Carolina. A place called the Roval, somethin’ fancy. Shane van Gisbergen, he got the pole there. Don’t rightly know where he’s from, that fella. Sounds like one of them foreigners. But he sure can drive, that’s for sure.
I also heard tell about some fella named Bell. He got a pole too, goin’ real fast, almost 180 miles an hour! His teammate, Ty Gibbs, was right behind him. And that Kyle Busch fella, he was startin’ third. Lots of fast fellas out there, you see?

So, you see, it ain’t just one fella gettin’ the pole all the time. It changes from race to race. You gotta pay attention, or you’ll miss it. These fellas, they’re always tryin’ to be the fastest. It’s what they do. Like roosters crowin’ in the mornin’, they gotta be the best.
And sometimes, it ain’t just the driver. They got these fellas called car chiefs, like this Eddie D’Hondt Jr. fella. They work on the cars, makin’ sure they’re fast. It’s a team effort, you know? Like makin’ a quilt, everybody gotta do their part.
So, there you have it. A whole bunch of fellas gettin’ poles. It’s a lot to keep track of, I tell ya. But that’s racin’ for ya. Fast and furious, just like them movies my grandkids watch. Always somethin’ happenin’.
Anyway, to know who got pole for today’s race, you gotta watch the news or look it up online, ’cause it changes all the blame time!
