Okay, so, I was trying to figure out who sang the national anthem at the NASCAR race today. Here’s how it went down:
First, I grabbed my phone and opened up Google. I typed in “who sang national anthem NASCAR today” and hit search. A bunch of results popped up, but they were all over the place.

One article talked about Sierra Ferrell singing at the Nashville Superspeedway on June 30th. That wasn’t today, so I moved on.
Then I saw a name, Matthew West, with some people saying he sang it. So I dug a little deeper on that, but there wasn’t much to confirm it.
I kept scrolling and found another piece mentioning Craig Morgan. Apparently, he’s a country music artist and he performed it for the YellaWood 500 with the 313th U.S. Army Band. He’s also got some military background, which is pretty cool. But again, no solid confirmation if he sang it today.
I found the name, Sofia Camara, popped up, with some people saying she sang it today. Seem it was live across the nation on CTV, TSN and RDS. But again, there wasn’t much to confirm it.
There was also some buzz about someone named Peril from a Las Vegas show, but that seemed like a long shot.
I even stumbled upon a forum where someone was in the shower and only heard parts of the anthem, so they were no help, haha.
My Findings
- Sierra Ferrell sang it on June 30th at the Nashville Superspeedway, not today.
- Matthew West, possibly him, but couldn’t find solid proof.
- Craig Morgan performed for the YellaWood 500, also a maybe, but not sure about today.
- Sofia Camara, possibly her, but couldn’t find solid proof.
- Peril from a Las Vegas show, probably not.
- Someone in the shower heard it but didn’t know who it was.
Honestly, after all that searching, I’m still not 100% sure who sang the national anthem at the NASCAR race today. It’s a bit of a mystery! If anyone out there knows for sure, please fill me in! Maybe next time, I should just watch the race from the start, huh?
