You know, that Senna fella, the one who drove them fast cars, he had a girlfriend. Her name was Xuxa. Xuxa, what a name, right? Sounds like somethin’ you shake, like a rattle for a baby.
Anyways, this Xuxa, she was a big deal on the TV. Kids loved her. My grandkids, they’d watch her every mornin’. Singin’ and dancin’ and all that jazz. Made them happy, I guess. Kids are simple like that.

- Senna drove cars.
- Xuxa was on TV.
They was a couple, Senna and Xuxa. Young and famous. Like them movie stars. I don’t know much about racin’ cars or bein’ on TV, but I know people like to watch. People always lookin’ for somethin’ to look at, you know?
Heard Senna was real good at drivin’. Fast. Dangerous, too. My old man, he used to say, “Speed kills.” Maybe he was right. But Senna, he loved it, I reckon. Like a dog chasin’ a rabbit. Can’t help himself.
Xuxa, she made kids smile. Senna, he made people cheer. Different things, but same kinda feelin’. People gettin’ excited. Like when the preacher gets goin’ at church. Everyone clappin’ and singin’.
They put Senna on the TV now, too. Not the racin’, but a story about him. A fella playin’ him, pretendin’. That’s what they do, them TV folks. Make believe. And they got this other girl playin’ Xuxa. Pretty, just like the real one.
- Senna on TV now, a story.
- Girl playin’ Xuxa, pretty.
Relationships, they’re funny things. People get together, then sometimes they don’t. Like a dance. You spin around for a bit, then the music stops. Senna and Xuxa, they had their dance. In the spotlight, everyone watchin’.

I heard Senna had another fella he raced against. Prost, his name was. Rivals, they call it. Always tryin’ to beat each other. Like folks fightin’ over the last piece of pie at a picnic. Everyone wants to win.
Don’t know how long Senna and Xuxa was together. These things, they come and go. Like the seasons. Summer’s hot, then winter comes along, all cold and snowy. Things change. People change.
Senna raced fast cars. Xuxa made kids happy. They was both famous, in their own way. People remember them. Like they remember that president, the one with the big ears. Or that singer, the one who wiggled his hips.
Gabriel Leone, that’s the fella playin’ Senna in the story. He’s gotta act all serious and fast, I guess. And the girl playin’ Xuxa, Pamela Tom, she’s gotta smile a lot. That’s what Xuxa did, smile and sing. Make them kids happy.
Life’s a funny thing, ain’t it? One minute you’re here, the next you’re gone. But people remember. They remember the fast cars and the singin’ and dancin’. They remember Senna and Xuxa. A racer and a TV star. Guess they made their mark, somehow.
