Alright, listen up, y’all. We’re gonna talk about them football teams, the ones that always gettin’ flagged. You know, the ones that just can’t seem to keep their hands to themselves.
Now, I ain’t no fancy expert or nothin’, but I can sure see when a team’s playin’ dirty. It’s like watchin’ my grandkids fight over the last piece of pie – lots of grabbin’ and yellin’. And these referees, they ain’t blind. They see it too, and they throw them yellow flags like they’re goin’ outta style.
So, who’s the worst? Well, from what I hear, this year it’s them Baltimore Ravens. Yeah, them birds. They got flagged more than a runaway truck gets honked at. Heard tell they got over a hundred penalties this season. That’s a whole lotta flags, I tell ya. More flags than a Fourth of July parade!
But it ain’t just this year, see. Some teams, they just got a history of bein’ naughty. Like them Oakland Raiders, back in 2011. Lordy, them boys were somethin’ else. They racked up a whopping 163 penalties in one season! That’s like gettin’ a speeding ticket every other day. Don’t know how they managed to play football with all them flags flyin’ around.
And then there’s them Houston Texans. Since 2023, they been gettin’ called out left and right. Over 200 penalties! That’s enough to make a preacher swear. They must be playin’ more tag than football, the way they’re always grabbin’ and holdin’.
Now, you might be thinkin’, “Well, maybe it’s just bad luck.” But I don’t buy that. These penalties, they ain’t just happenin’ by chance. It’s about discipline, see? Some teams, they just ain’t got it. They’re always jumpin’ offsides, holdin’ on to receivers, hittin’ folks late. It’s like they can’t help themselves.
- Holding: That’s when they grab a fella and don’t let go. Like a dog with a bone.
- False Start: That’s when they jump the gun before the ball is snapped. Impatient little buggers, ain’t they?
- Offsides: Similar to false start, but on the defense. They just can’t wait to get their hands on the other team.
- Pass Interference: That’s when they get too rough with the receivers tryin’ to catch the ball. Like kids fightin’ over a toy.
- Unnecessary Roughness: That’s when they just plain mean. Hittin’ folks after the play is over, or goin’ for the head. Ain’t no place for that in football, I tell ya.
And then you got them Dallas Cowboys. Them fellas, they been rackin’ up the penalties for years now. Over 500 penalties since 2019! That’s a whole heap of flags. They must have a flag budget bigger than some teams’ entire payroll.
Look, I get it. Football’s a rough game. It’s about hittin’ hard and fightin’ for every inch. But there’s a difference between playin’ tough and playin’ dirty. And these teams that are always gettin’ penalized, they need to learn that difference. They need to get their act together, or they’re gonna keep costin’ their teams games.
So, there you have it. That’s my take on them penalty-prone teams. They’re the ones that always seem to be on the wrong side of the law, the ones that can’t seem to keep their noses clean. And until they learn to play by the rules, they’re gonna keep gettin’ flagged. And that’s the truth, plain and simple.
Anyways, that’s just my two cents. I’m just an old lady watchin’ football, but even I can see when a team’s playin’ too rough. These teams need to clean up their act, or they’re gonna keep on gettin’ those penalties. And that ain’t gonna win ’em no championships.
