Okay, so, I’ve been trying to figure out where to catch the Kentucky football games, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a wild ride. I’m a huge fan, and missing a game is just not an option for me. So, I dove into this little project to make sure I’m all set for the season.
First thing I did was check the schedule. Gotta know when the games are, right? I saw that there were a few different opponents lined up, including Louisville, Murray State, Texas, and Ole Miss. Each game seemed to be on a different channel. That’s where the fun started.

I started digging around for info on the Kentucky vs. Louisville game. Turns out, it’s going to be on SEC Network. I also found out that if I want to catch the Kentucky vs. Murray State game, I need to look for SEC Network+. The Kentucky vs. Texas game? That one’s on ABC. See what I mean about different channels?
Here’s a little breakdown of what I found:
- Kentucky vs. Louisville: SEC Network
- Kentucky vs. Murray State: SEC Network+
- Kentucky vs. Texas: ABC
- Kentucky vs. Ole Miss: Also ABC, apparently.
Now, I know some games are on local channels, and you can just use an antenna to watch them for free. But for the others, especially the ones on ESPN or regional sports networks, things get a bit more complicated. I even saw something about a “Fubo” and “ESPN+” thing for streaming, but I didn’t get into that yet. Maybe I will later.
I also found out who’s going to be calling the games, which is pretty cool. For the Kentucky vs. Murray State game, it’s going to be Tom Leach and Jeff Piecoro in the booth, with Dick Gabriel on the sidelines. And for the Kentucky vs. Texas game, we’ve got Joe Tessitore and Jesse Palmer calling the action.
So, yeah, that’s where I’m at right now. I’ve got my list of channels, and I’m ready to watch some Kentucky football. I hope this helps any other fans out there who are trying to figure this stuff out. Go Cats!
