So, I’m a big Maryland football fan, and I really wanted to catch their game the other day. I was all set – snacks ready, jersey on, feeling pumped. But then, I realized I had no idea what channel the game was even on. Embarrassing, right? You’d think I’d know this stuff by now.
First thing I did was grab my phone and start searching. I typed in something like “Maryland football game channel” and hoped for the best. Thankfully, the internet is a magical place. I found some info pretty quickly. It seemed like most of the games are broadcast on something called the “Maryland Sports Radio Network.” Okay, cool. That’s a start.

- I went a bit further and got the info I needed. I figured out that the game I wanted to watch, which was against Villanova (tough team!), would be on one of the major sports networks.
- There was something about it being available to stream, too, but I’m old school – I like watching on my TV.
- I also noticed a future game against Oregon is gonna be played at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Autzen Stadium in Eugene. I made a note of that for sure.
Anyway, I eventually found the right channel, just in time for kickoff. It was a bit of a scramble, but hey, I made it. Next time, I’m definitely gonna check the schedule ahead of time. Maybe I’ll even print it out and stick it on the fridge, like my grandpa used to do.
It all worked out in the end, and I got to watch the Terrapins play. That’s all that matters, right? Go Terps!
