Alright, guys, so I was trying to figure out when this “Thursday Night Football” thing actually starts. You know, I always hear about it, but never actually know the specific time.
So, first, I just did a quick search. Nothing fancy, just typed in “Thursday Night Football time” and hoped for the best. I was hit with a bunch of stuff, different websites, schedules, you name it.
My Little Experiment
I dug around a bit, you know, clicking through a few of those results. It wasn’t super clear at first – lots of general info, but I wanted the actual, consistent kickoff time.

- Even looked at the official NFL site, ’cause why not go straight to the source, right?
Finally, after a bit of digging (seriously, it took me a few minutes!), I got the answer. It looks like most Thursday Night Football games kick off at 8:20 PM Eastern Time. That seemed to be the most consistent time across the board.
So, there you have it! 8:20 PM ET. I’ll probably still double-check each week, just in case, but at least now I have a solid baseline. No more missing the start of the game for me!
