Man, I gotta tell you about this LSU baseball game I watched. I was trying to find out the score, right? So, I started like everyone else, just punching “what was the score of the LSU baseball game” into the search engine.
The first thing that popped up was something about the Tigers beating the Tar Heels, 8-4. I was like, “Alright, that’s a solid win!” It mentioned a guy named Thatcher Hurd having a great game, which is always good to hear. I went ahead and dug a little deeper.

Then I saw a bunch of stuff about a game against Kentucky. Apparently, LSU crushed them 11-0, and they hit not one, but two grand slams! Can you believe that? Talk about an offensive explosion.
I also stumbled across this other game, LSU versus South Carolina. This one was a real nail-biter, finishing 11-10. I wish I had seen that one live. It seems like LSU has been on a roll, winning a couple of games in a row, 8-5 in 12 innings one time. Crazy, right?
I even found out that some website called D1Baseball ranked LSU as the best college program in the country. I read that their stadium, Alex Box Stadium, can hold over 10,000 people, which is wild. They named it after a former player who was a war hero. That’s pretty cool, I think.
But here’s the kicker, since 1990, 43 former LSU players have been on MLB playoff teams, and 15 have won the World Series! That’s an impressive track record.
Takeaways from my little search:
- LSU’s baseball team is seriously good. They’ve been winning a lot and scoring a ton of runs.
- They have a history of sending players to the pros. It seems like if you play for LSU, you’ve got a decent shot at making it to the big leagues.
- Their fans are probably super excited right now. I mean, who wouldn’t be with all this winning?
Anyway, that’s my little adventure into the world of LSU baseball. It was way more interesting than I expected!
