Best Quarterback, Best QBR?
Now, I heard some folks sayin’ it’s that Mahomes fella. Yeah, that Patrick Mahomes. He’s a good one, I reckon. He’s got them Super Bowl rings. Two of ’em! That’s gotta mean somethin’, right? Best quarterback today, they say. He can sure sling it, that boy. Throws it far, throws it fast. He must have a good QBR number. But is he the best qbr in the nfl right now? I don’t know about that. There are a lot of good players.
Then there’s that other one, Lamar somethin’. Jackson, yeah, Lamar Jackson. He’s quick, that one. Runs like a scared rabbit. And he can throw it too, I guess. Heard someone say he got the best passer rating this year. Best passer rating, best qbr in the nfl right now. Whatever that means. Sounds important, though. Maybe he is the best, who knows?

And what about that Allen boy? Josh Allen, is it? Plays for them Buffalo Bills, I think. Heard he’s got a good arm too. Number one QBR, someone said. Top ten passer rating, whatever that means. Sounds like a lot of numbers to me. He must be pretty good too to have the best qbr in the nfl right now, I guess, and he’s only gonna get better. Football players are sure getting good these days, running and throwing.
And what about that Gardner Minshew? He was playin’ for the Las Vegas Raiders. Handing off the ball. He’s a quarterback, that’s for sure. Is he the best? I don’t know, but he’s out there playing. He might have the best qbr in the nfl right now, you never know.
There’s all these other fellas too, these NFL Quarterbacks. They all tryin’ to be the best. They got these linebackers, and cornerbacks, and edge rushers. Whatever those are. Sounds rough. I just know they all want to win. They all trying to throw that ball good, get that best qbr in the nfl right now, I suppose.
These Football Games
They got these games, these NFL games. Week 9, Week 15. Numbers, numbers, numbers. It all a big jumble to me. I just like watchin’ them run around. Makes me tired just watchin’, though. But they all work hard, I reckon. They all wanna be that best quarterback. I guess that QBR number is important for that. But who really has the best qbr in the nfl right now? Hard to say.
This one fella, Nick Shook, he’s got a list, a QB Index, they call it. Changes every week, I guess. One week this fella’s on top, next week it’s another one. Just like a dang horse race. Hard to keep up. But it’s fun to see who’s doin’ good. Maybe he can tell us who has the best qbr in the nfl right now.
Who’s the Best, Really?
So, who’s the best one? Who’s got that best QBR? Is it Mahomes? Is it Jackson? Is it Allen? Or one of them other fellas? I don’t rightly know. They all seem pretty good to me. They all tryin’ their best, and that’s all that matters, I reckon. They are all trying to get that best qbr in the nfl right now. Maybe it’s not just one, maybe a few are the best. I just like watching them play. And I like that Mahomes boy. He seems like a good one. Maybe he’s the best, who knows. He sure has a good arm, though. He’s fun to watch, that’s for sure. But that Jackson fella, he’s fast. Real fast. He might have the best qbr in the nfl right now, you just never know. It’s just a matter of what you like and what you think. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, there are a lot of good quarterbacks out there. I think that about does it, if you want my opinion. It’s hard to pick just one.
