Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into this question of who’s the best ball handler in the NBA, and let me tell you, it’s a rabbit hole! Here’s how I went about trying to figure this out.
First, I Started Brainstorming.
I made a list of players that always come up in these conversations. You know, the usual suspects:

- Kyrie Irving
- Stephen Curry
- Jamal Crawford
- Chris Paul
- Ja Morant
Then, I started watching highlights. Lots and lots of highlights. My eyes were practically glued to the screen! For getting a general feel, YouTube is my best friend. I just searched for things like “best crossovers NBA” and “ankle breakers NBA.”
Digging a Little Deeper.
After getting hyped up by the highlight reels, I needed something more concrete. I checked out some stats, I tried to get a sense of how many turnovers these guys had compared to their assists, that kind of thing.
My Final Thoughts(for now…)
Honestly, after all this, I still can’t pick just one!
It depands on my mood. Sometime I may say Kyrie has got the best handles ever, the way he can just dance with the ball is unreal.

But then, you watch Steph Curry, and he’s not always as flashy, but man, is he effective. He’s like a magician out there. So, yeah, I’m still on the fence. It’s a tough one! Maybe I’ll do a follow-up after watching even more basketball.
