Okay, so I’ve been glued to the NASCAR races lately, and the one at Bristol? Man, that was something else. I gotta share what went down, ’cause it was a wild ride from start to finish.
So, I got everything set up to watch the race. Snacks, drinks, the whole nine yards. I was pumped because Bristol is always a crazy track. And boy, did it deliver. The green flag dropped, and it was game on.

Right from the get-go, Kyle Larson was a beast. I mean, this guy was on fire. He started strong, and it just got better and better for him. He was leading, and not just by a little. We’re talking a serious lead here. I kept checking the lap count, and it was like, “Is this guy ever gonna slow down?”
- Larson was just flying around the track.
- It felt like he was in a league of his own.
I was keeping an eye on the other guys too. You know, hoping for some shake-ups, some drama. But Larson? He was just too good. It was like watching a master at work. He was smooth, he was fast, and he was smart.
As the race went on, I started to realize, “This is Larson’s race to lose.” And guess what? He didn’t lose it. Not even close. He kept that lead like it was nobody’s business. Lap after lap, he was just cruising. It was pretty insane to watch.
I gotta say, there were some other drivers doing their thing, making moves, trying to get up there. But it was like they were racing for second place. That’s how dominant Larson was.
The Final Stretch
When we got to the final laps, I was on the edge of my seat, even though it seemed pretty clear who was gonna win. And yeah, Larson crossed that finish line first. No surprises there, but still, what a performance!

So, that’s my blow-by-blow of the Bristol race. Kyle Larson, hats off to him. He didn’t just win; he dominated. It was a sight to see, and I’m already looking forward to the next race. Who knows what’ll happen, but if it’s anything like Bristol, we’re in for a treat.
Eliminated from playoff contention were Ty Gibbs, Martin Truex Jr., Brad Keselowski and Harrison Burton. There will be a quarterfinal round, Kansas (winner-Ross Chastain, not a playoff driver), Talladega (winner-Ricky Stenhouse Jr., not a playoff driver).
And who is in the NASCAR Championship 4? It seems Joey Logano, Tyler Reddick, Ryan Blaney and Byron will enter Phoenix with an equal chance to win the Cup Series championship. I can’t wait for that.
