Alright, so you wanna know who the best fullback in the NFL is, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t like the old days. Back then, fullbacks were everywhere, smashin’ and crashin’ like a buncha bulls in a china shop. Now, these young fellas, they mostly just pass the ball around like it’s a hot potato.
But, there’s still a few good ones left, ya know, the real deal kinda guys. From what I hear, this Kyle Juszczyk fella from the 49ers, he’s supposed to be the cream of the crop. People say he’s the best fullback in the game today. That coach of theirs, Kyle Shanahan, he still likes to run the ball the old-fashioned way, smack-dab in the middle, and Juszczyk, he’s the guy doin’ the dirty work.

They say he can block, catch, and even carry the ball a little. Sounds like a real workhorse to me. Reminds me of them fellas from the old days, ya know, the ones who’d just as soon run you over as look at ya.
- Blockin’: That’s the main thing a fullback does, right? Gotta protect the quarterback and open holes for the runners. Juszczyk, he’s supposed to be a real wall, ain’t nobody gettin’ past him easy.
- Catchin’: Now, this ain’t as important, but a good fullback can catch the ball when they need him to. Juszczyk, he can do that too, so they say. Makes him a double threat, I guess.
- Carryin’ the ball: This is the fun part, right? Smashin’ through the line, gettin’ those tough yards. Juszczyk, he don’t do it as much as them old-timers, but he can still get it done when they need him to.
Another name I hear thrown around is Patrick Ricard. He’s another one of them tough guys, plays for the Ravens. Seems like those are the two names everybody keeps talkin’ about when it comes to fullbacks. So, I guess one of them fellas gotta be the best.
Now, some folks, they like to talk about them old-timers, like Jim Brown. They say he was the best ever, a real beast of a man. But that was a long time ago, ya know. The game’s different now. You got guys throwin’ the ball all over the place. Fullbacks ain’t as important as they used to be.
Then there’s this Mike Alstott fella, some people say he was the best pure fullback to play the game. They say he could do everything – block, run, catch, the whole shebang. He sounds like a real tough cookie. But again, that was back in the day. Hard to compare them fellas to the guys playin’ now.
So, if you ask me, who’s the best right now? Well, I ain’t no expert, but from what I hear, it’s gotta be that Kyle Juszczyk. He’s the one still doin’ all that fullback stuff, blockin’ and catchin’ and all that. And if his team keeps on winnin’, well, that just makes him look even better, don’t it? But hey, don’t take my word for it. I’m just an old lady who likes to watch a good football game every now and then.

At the end of the day, it’s all about findin’ a fella who can help his team win. And right now, it seems like that Juszczyk fella is doin’ just that. So, yeah, I’d say he’s the best fullback in the NFL, at least for now. But you never know, these young fellas are always comin’ and goin’. Could be a whole new crop of ’em next year, tough as nails and ready to rumble.
The NFL today is more about passing, so a fullback’s job ain’t always so clear. Some teams hardly use ’em at all, just sendin’ out more receivers. But teams like the 49ers, they still value a tough guy who can block and make some room for the runners. That’s why Juszczyk is so valuable. He’s a throwback, ya know? A reminder of the way things used to be.
And that’s all there is to it, in my opinion. You want the best fullback? You look for the guy who can block, catch, and maybe even carry the ball a little. And right now, that sounds like Kyle Juszczyk to me.
