Alright, so you wanna watch them Tennessee football boys play, huh? It ain’t rocket science, I tell ya. Just gotta know where to look. Folks always makin’ things complicated, but it’s simple as pie if you ask me.
First thing’s first, you gotta figure out when they’re playin’. That’s the most important part, ain’t it? Can’t watch a game if you don’t know when it’s on. Sometimes they play on Saturdays, sometimes on them weeknights. Just gotta keep your ears open or check the schedule, I reckon. They got them schedules online now, on the “internet” thingamajig. My grandson showed me once. Fancy stuff.

Now, once you know the day and time, next thing is figuring out where to watch it. Back in my day, we just had the one TV, and if the game was on, it was on. Nowadays, they got all sorts of channels and whatnots. Makes my head spin, it does.
- Sometimes, them games are on regular TV. You know, the channels like CBS, ABC, ESPN. If you’re lucky, it’ll be on one of them. Just gotta flip through the channels ’til you find it.
- But sometimes, them fancy fellas put the games on special channels. Like, ESPN2, or SEC Network, or some other thing I can’t even pronounce. If you got cable, you might have them channels. If not, well, you might be outta luck. Or you gotta go to a friend’s house who has them channels. That’s what we used to do back in the day, gather ’round at whoever had the best reception.
- And then, there’s this “streaming” thing the young folks are always talkin’ about. Said you can watch the games on your computer or your phone or somethin’. Sounds like witchcraft to me, but they say it works. You gotta pay for it, though, I think. Like a fancy cable, but it goes through the “internet.” Again, my grandson knows more about that than I do.
So, let’s say the game is on ESPN. You just gotta turn on your TV, find ESPN, and there you go! But what if it’s on one of them fancy streaming things? Well, that’s where it gets tricky. You gotta sign up for a service, like YouTube TV or Hulu or somethin’. And then you gotta download an app on your phone or your TV or whatever. And then you gotta log in and find the game. Like I said, witchcraft! But the young folks seem to figure it out, so I guess it can’t be too hard.
Another thing you gotta think about is, who are they playin’ against? That matters, you know. If they’re playin’ some big-shot team, it’s more likely to be on regular TV. If they’re playin’ some small-time school, it might be on one of them fancy channels or just on that “streaming” thing. So keep an eye on who they’re playin’.
And don’t forget about the radio! Yep, the good old radio. If you can’t watch the game, you can always listen to it. It ain’t as good as watchin’, but it’s better than nothin’. Just find a station that’s broadcastin’ the game, and you’re all set. We used to do that all the time back in the day, sit on the porch and listen to the game on the radio. Good times, good times.
So, to sum it all up, here’s how you watch them Tennessee football games: First, figure out when they playin’. Second, find out what channel it’s on, or if it’s on that “streaming” thing. Third, make sure you got the right channel or service. Fourth, sit back, relax, and enjoy the game! And if all else fails, turn on the radio and listen to them boys fight. It ain’t that hard, I tell ya. Just gotta use your common sense.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some sweet tea. All this talk about football has made me thirsty. And remember, Go Vols!
One last thing, sometimes they even tell you how to watch it right on the ticket if you bought one or on the website where you saw the schedule. They know folks get confused, I guess. They try to make it easy, but sometimes it feels like they’re just makin’ it harder! But if you keep these things in mind, you’ll be watchin’ them Vols in no time!
